Here's an award I created for all my favorite blogs:
Well I am back now and have managed to tear ligaments in my right arm (yes, I am right handed of course) I was lifting my shopping trolley and it was so heavy that I heard a twang and felt it. It sounded like a guitar string breaking! Oh..the pain! That's what I get for overdoing the shopping thingy.
Anyway while I was in Canada I went you a yard sale and found a stash of old newspapers dated to 1951...I just love the fabulous pictures and advertisements. Here is a small selection for you to enjoy!
Nice to come home to? I hope he was not wearing this dodgy underwear!

Lucky You! I wish I could go to a garage sale... perhaps one day.
Love the magazines, especially the one with the mens underwear - now some men might suit that style but I'm afraid many would not. I guess they could be called "Passion Killers" LOL
Sorry to hear about your arm. Sounds sore - make sure you get it properly checked out.

I think I just threw up a little reading about your ligament! YUCK.
Way to "go down" shopping though. That deserves a trophy I think. Never leave a shopping trolley behind.
