I have long wanted a small cabinet in the kitchen just for my crystal (well - glasses really, but crystal sounds so lovely) and my vintage table napkins. I bought this at the charity fete I was working at yesterday.
I painted it blue inside and white outside, lined the back with old sheet music, used two spare gingham curtain tie backs and old Irish hand crocheted doilies to frillify the shelves. Added a tiny ballerina and fine bone china duck figurine arranged the glasses and ....voila! I have a unique designer piece for my kitchen.
WOW!!!! That is truly beautiful now. You have done wonders and I love the colours, the gingham and the musicsheets lining the back. Absolutely delicious to look at.
I bet you are really proud.. and my... you are a FAST worker!

and I bet the blue and white looks great
in the kitchen.
Love the lace!! The the third bottom shelf makes
me want to reach in and check
out what linens you have there on the left :)

Isn't it fun to be your own personal designer, very cute...love the shot of your deck and your observations...they say the camera never lies, in the case of my rear-end, I wish it would take a holiday now and then...LOL
