I just watched that movie the other day with my Dad. I love it too. Your cottage is lovely! Top o'the mornin to ya! The first movie I ever saw in a theater was Darby O Gill and the Little People with Shaun Connery- I was terrified but fell in love with him and leprechauns that day! Thanks for stopping by my blog! xxxooo calamity

Well, as you can see, I am enjoying getting to "know" your blog! Your home is really lovely - if only walls could talk, huh? I'll bet they'd have stories to tell. You have made it so cosy looking.
I will watch The Quiet Man again - my mother was alwasy a big fan of Maureen O'Hara's and of course Daddy of John Wayne.
Have a wonderful week -

Hello,
I am having a hard time trying to post here. So Here goes again. I have really enjoyed your site and want to introduce myself as I am also a lover of The Quiet Man. Below is my URL showing most of my Quiet Man inspired prints. Hope this post works because another Irish family would be nice to get to know.

Many Thanks Pam for placing my site on your side board. Many years ago when I first saw The Quiet Man, Ireland became a place like heaven to me. My wife and children think that watching the movie over a thousand times probably was a bit much. The very first painting that I did back in 1993 was White O'Morn. It was first titled White O'Mornin and there are plenty people that would say that is the proper spelling. Ms. O'Hara has made it clear that it is properly spelled White O'Morn. The prints inspired by The Quiet Man have been on sale there in Cong for sometime now much to my delight. The economy has really put a hurting on sales. I hope that changes for the Collins. Thanks again and am really looking forward to coming back here often.
Bryan
