Happy Birthday Da! Willa is 87 years young!
Today my dad is 87! I am going over there for a little party with Mam and Dad later tonight. Here is a picture of the birthday boy 
In the meantime here is their wedding photo. I love old wedding pictures. Look at that fabulous dress. How I wish she had kept it.
I noticed that their crockery is blue Willow pattern...my favourite and the design I use in White O'Morn cottage!

That is a lovely dress! Did people still have these fancy wedding dresses during the World Wars there? Our local castle/mansion here just did a wedding dress show from the ages and that was one of the things they mentioned was that during those times people just didn't a special dress just for a wedding so it was hard to even get examples from the time since it was just a nice dress suit. Kind of interesting to find out what the rest of the world did during those days. ;)

Happy 87th to your dad! Have a great time with him tonight. I have lunch with my dad almost everyday. It's the best thing in the world and i cherish those times with him.

What a sweet wedding picture....gorgeous dress and what a pretty cake.
Looking back I really enjoyed the many cottages...for some reason I love the picture of the window with the lace curtain...charming. Have a happy weekend. Linda
